MANOIR D'AUVERS
Built on the heights of Durtal in Anjou, overlooking the River Loir, the Auvers manor house was the historic defence point for the nearby royal castle.
The manor house, listed on the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments (ISMH) in 1974 for its facades and roof, was built in the 14th and 15th centuries. The presumed defensive gateway of an annex building has been dated to 1498-1502. This 15th-century building and another dating from the 18th century were also listed as ISMH sites in 2020.Practical information
