Château de Challain-la-Potherie
Located in the heart of a village in the Loire Valley, 1 hour from Nantes and 45 minutes from Angers, Challain-la-Potherie is a magnificent 19th-century château nicknamed "Little Chambord" and surrounded by 30 hectares of romantic parkland.
This jewel of neo-Gothic architecture was built by the architect René Hodé. Set in the heart of a romantic 30-hectare park, this imposing edifice is almost 60 metres long and 45 metres high.The château can be seen from the outside and offers a breathtaking view!
The château can only be visited by groups of 20 or more and on request (subject to availability of the site and the guide).
