CHATEAU DE LASSAY
A remarkably well-preserved fortified castle. Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, it has retained its 8 original towers and superb barbican. The castle overlooks the pond and offers visitors an incredible panorama.
Château de Lassay was built at the end of the 14th century. Today, it is a rare example of the military architecture of the period. Accompanied by a guide, you will discover the barbican with its 3 levels of casemates. The castle has a working drawbridge, which visitors are invited to operate under the supervision of the guide.You can visit the manor house, which contains a kitchen, a weapons room and several other furnished rooms.
The romantic park adjoining the château is also worth a visit.
