Parcours découverte "Sur le chemin des ardoisières"
In the heart of the Misengrain valley in Anjou Bleu, straddling the communes of Noyant-La-Gravoyère and Nyoiseau, this trail guides you between industrial and natural heritage.
Your walk begins beside the Etang de Saint-Blaise and continues under the chestnut trees along the Misengrain stream. Historically developed by man, particularly for slate and iron mining, you'll discover an undulating landscape dotted with ponds. As you approach these wetlands, listen out for the frogs and try to spot them. As you go up the hillside, you can discover species adapted to acidic, rocky soils, such as "Venus' Navel", a small, fat plant that thrives on damp, shady walls. Like the lizards, you may want to take advantage of the warmth of the sun by stopping for a few moments in these open spaces. The last stage of your walk, crossing the dyke at the étang de Saint-Blaise, offers a 360° panoramic view of the Misengrain valley.Practical information
