Musée des métiers
Immerse yourself in life as it was in the past and explore the trades in the 5,000m2 museum.
The whole Musée des métiers team will be delighted to help you discover the secrets of the trades and skills of yesteryear. You'll discover the trades in 12 exhibition rooms. You'll find tools from the stone, wood, earth, textile and leather trades, to name but a few. The collections take you back to the world of crafts and rural life in the early 20th century. The museum buildings are built in the architectural style of the 18th century, with bold roof timbers and cobbled streets that invite you to take a stroll through an old Anjou village. Created entirely by the association's volunteers, who have put all their skills and passion into this museum, this visit will surprise young and old alike.
For children, games are available at reception to help them discover the different trades and tools on display in the museum. Fun activities on specific trades are regularly organised, especially during the school holidays.
