The Cité des Oiseaux welcomes you to the heart of the Vendée bocage.A 56-hectare sensitive natural area, the site is made up of two ponds that attract numerous sedentary and migratory wild birds.
In 2026, the Cité des Oiseaux will be offering :
- Access to the observatory, during opening hours, to observe wild birds, as well as the free loan of binoculars.
- The "Origami Sauvage" exhibition by origami artist Jonathan Rebouillat, open to the public outdoors and in a dedicated indoor area.
- The "Phoenix Quest" treasure hunt to follow in the footsteps of this legendary bird - €3 per family
- Workshops and nature outings for all the family! Detailed programme on the Cité des Oiseaux website
- Open-air cinema: Friday 21 August from 7.30pm - screening of the film "Vivant" by Yann Arthus Bertrand
