La Cité des Oiseaux
A privileged rendez-vous in the heart of nature!
The Cité des Oiseaux offers you a special encounter with nature. This 56-hectare natural area is a haven of peace for many wild animals throughout the seasons. The site is made up of a mosaic of natural environments: ponds, woods, meadows, hedges and ponds.Exceptionally, for the whole of 2025, the main pond will be kept dry. This ecological management action is necessary to limit silting and ensure the long-term survival of this important natural environment for waterfowl. The observatory will remain closed to the public for 2025.
Nevertheless, in 2025, the Cité des Oiseaux will be offering visitors a chance to discover the natural environment and its biodiversity:
- The "Origami Sauvage" exhibition by origami artist Jonathan Rebouillat, open to the public outdoors and in a dedicated indoor area.
- The "Phoenix Quest" treasure hunt will take you on a journey in the footsteps of this legendary bird - €3 per family
- Workshops and nature outings for all the family! Detailed programme on request.
