Parc Saint Michel

The Parc Saint Michel and its manor house in the heart of the town of Les Essarts.

This 6-hectare park was laid out in 2002 by the Vendée Departmental Council. It features majestic trees, remnants of ancient hedgerows, as well as a number of more recently planted trees, a small reservoir and a damp valley. Ideal for family walks.
The Manoir St Michel, which was bought by the local council in 1996, was sold in 2001 to Jean-René Bernaudeau, who set up his cycling team there.
