Parc de L'Auneau
With its belvedere position overlooking the Lay valley, this park offers panoramic views that are reminiscent of the landscape of Tuscany.
The villa-castel, a square mansion dating from 1899, harmonises the grounds. In this very sober setting, the traditional trees of nineteenth-century parks stand out: blue cedar, liquidambar, purple beech, etc. The wall of the former kitchen garden is lined with old roses, most of them English.Access via the D 949 bis towards Chantonnay, then the D 52 towards St Hilaire le Vouhis.
The garden is open for Neurodon days in May, Rendez-vous aux Jardins in June from 2pm to 7pm and Heritage Days in September. From 1 to 11/07 and in September, daily from 2pm to 6pm.
All year round by appointment: 06 80 48 25 61.
