PARC BARON

Baron Park: on the site of the former fortified castle, a few architectural remains remain amidst the tree plantations and earthworks that have accumulated over time.

Today, it is a superb three-hectare walking area where history, fauna and flora come together. The ditches are planted with lime trees, and the cedars tower high above the ancient walls. The 40 écus tree (Ginkgo Biloba) stands alongside the Virginia tulip tree, in an atmosphere of laurel and hornbeam undergrowth. There is also a medieval garden.
