PRIEURE DE MAYANNE

Registered as a historic monuments since 2010. Labelled VMF and Heritage Foundation, this former mansion-hall, built of wood and mud, was first a tithe barn and then an administration building in the sixteenth century.

Former main priory of St Vincent's Abbey in Le Mans, this private holding later became a Benedictin domain.
Still conserves its Norman Chapel (11th-15th century), Great Hall of courtroom (12th century), Dormitory or reception hall (end 15th century), Tithe barn or old manor hall, Abbot's chamber, ovens, wells and rafters (15th century).
