Parc du Château de la Flocellière

Situated in La Flocellière in the Vendée, 15 minutes from the Puy du Fou, this rare château has been inhabited for over 900 years and offers visitors a wealth of different architectural styles. Periods overlap and intertwine in this superb 15-hectare park.

Surrounding the ancient medieval castle and its keep, the park is a total mix of styles and eras that overlap and intermingle, as seen in one of the towers where 13th-century archways, 15th-century pomegranate chutes and high 17th-century windows stand side by side. You can make out the yew-planted terrace garden, the medieval garden, the hedged park, the romantic park and the Italian garden.
