Mortagne-sur-Sèvre, an ancient medieval town, is a place steeped in history right up to the present day...A themed tour entitled "On the Chemin des Dames..." will take you from station to station, recounting a piece of the local history through the eyes of emblematic women. They have all, in one way or another, left their mark on local history over the centuries. Set off to meet them in the heart of historic Mortagne, following the signposts on the ground, and discover what the 12 places on the trail have to say...
Length of tour : 1h30 / Distance 3.5 km, some points are not accessible for people with reduced mobility. Leaflets available from the Tourist Office.
During the summer season, the Tourist Office offers guided tours of the historic centre of Mortagne on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm (free of charge, booking essential).
