The fortified castle in action! The fortified castle of Saint Mesmin, in Saint André sur Sèvre, is a 14th-century medieval fortress to which an imposing 28-metre-high keep was added in the 15th century.
Daily medieval events in July and August give visitors the chance to discover this unusual site: events for children and adults, and free visits. Theme: "château fort en animations".
