Château de la Devansaye
Nestling in the heart of a park, Château de la Devansaye, a building that has been modified over the centuries, features an exceptional vegetable garden. A great place to stop in the Anjou Bleu region, close to Segré.
The oldest part of the château was built around the middle of the 16th century. It was renovated in the 19th century but has retained its exterior walls and openings. Château de la Devansaye is above all an exceptional vegetable garden, covering one hectare and entirely enclosed. Created around 1875, this vegetable garden has retained most of its original features, such as the gardener's house, the greenhouse and the entire water supply system. It houses a collection of apple and pear trees pruned into cordons, palmettes and spindles.Contact
