MICRO-FOLIE

The Châteaubriant Micro-Folie is a digital museum, entirely free and open to all, where masterpieces from national and international museums such as the Louvre, the Château de Versailles and the Musée d'Orsay are shown in very high definition.

The Digital Museum can be visited on its own or with an interpreter, and is particularly well suited to artistic and cultural education programmes. Educational workshops linked to the Digital Museum's collections are also available.
The Châteaubriant Micro-Folie also has a virtual reality area (headsets available to the public) and offers a selection of immersive cultural content.
Throughout the year, events, exhibitions and creative workshops are organised to bring this unique place to life and encourage curiosity.
Micro-Folie Châteaubriant is open to all, with special times for groups and schools.

The Châteaubriant Micro-Folie is expanding its range of activities with the addition of a FabLab (manufacturing laboratory), offering the possibility of opening new workshops.
The Micro-Folie FabLab is a digital creation laboratory open to anyone who wants to try their hand at programming for artistic creation. It's the only one of its kind in the Châteaubriant area. From mental design to modelling, right through to digital fabrication, the FabLab gives everyone the chance to express their imagination and creativity. Thanks to its high-quality machines, creative workshops at the museum will take on a new, innovative dimension. Workshops in tune with the times and current Do It Yourself practices.
