EGLISE SAINT SYMPHORIEN
The church of Saint Symphorien in Vieil-Baugé is famous for its astonishing Tors bell tower, built in 1856. It is one of the churches with a Tors bell tower in the Baugeois region.
The church of Saint Symphorien has a twisted and leaning bell tower. The reason for this torsion is still a mystery. The church dates from different architectural periods, from the 11th to the 19th centuries. The choir is in the Plantagenet style and is very light thanks to the three open chapels on either side. Processional banners on display from May to October.Contact
