12th century church bearing witness to the presence of the Templars

This church is the only evidence of the presence of the Templar Order in the Vendée in the early 12th century. It is based on the properties of the Pythagorean right-angled triangle.

The building has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1991.
The most important bell, called MARIE, dates from 1744 and has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1943.
