Église Saint-Pierre - Montguillon

This charming Romanesque church has been altered over the centuries. It is located in Montguillon, at the crossroads of the Anjou and Mayenne regions.

Saint-Pierre church was built in the 11th century in the Romanesque style. However, it underwent a number of changes over the following centuries, most notably in 1840, when the panelling in the nave was repaired and the bell tower rebuilt. It was completely restored in 1873-1874.
The baptismal font dates from the 15th century and is listed as a Historic Monument. Just like the flesh.
