The oldest part of Saint-Front church dates back to the 12th century. The Romanesque apse choir dates from this period. Originally consisting of a single nave topped by a semi-circular apse, two chapels were added in 1872. The octagonal bell tower topped by a spire overlooks a square tower where the nave and aisles meet. The choir is pure Romanesque. Roussard sandstone characterises this "red church".Practical information
