Église Saint-Martin-de-Vertoux -- Quérré

The church of Saint-Martin de Vertou was built in the 15th century and remodelled in the 19th century. It is located in Querré, a small village in the Anjou Bleu region.

The oldest known document concerning the church dates from 27 January 1421.
The choir was built in 1768. Two neo-Gothic bays were added to the single nave when the church was rebuilt in 1874. The sacristy houses two reliquaries and statues of the Virgin and Saint Sébastien, patron saint of archers.
