ÉGLISE SAINT BRICE - COURCIVAL

Situated on a promontory, Saint Brice church offers a splendid panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
The building is of Romanesque origin, as evidenced by the fishbone north wall. If you look up, you will see 4 symbols on the roof (hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs). The reason for their presence remains an enigma to this day.

Inside the church, you'll find an impressive array of statuary: St Agatha, St Peter, St Sebastian, St John, St Maurice and more. There are also funerary plaques, a reliquary and stained glass windows.
The real treasure is a 17th-century terracotta Virgin and Child.

Don't miss the candlelit concert in the church on the first Saturday in July. A unique, timeless experience!
