ÉGLISE SAINT ETIENNE

Its origins date back to the 6th century

The church at Sucé-sur-Erdre has stood the test of time, and was first mentioned in a charter in 952. The Romanesque building dates back to the 12th century and was completed in the 16th century. Little maintained before the French Revolution, and now too small, it was gradually demolished from 1842 and replaced by the current church.
