Église Notre-Dame de Séronnes - Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe

Located in Châteauneuf-sur-Sarthe, at the top of a hill overlooking the banks of the Sarthe, Notre-Dame de Séronnes church is a Romanesque building with Plantagenet Gothic vaults and ancient frescoes.

This charming 12th-century church dominates the Sarthe valley. It was rebuilt over the following centuries, notably with the addition of Plantagenet Gothic vaults. It was finally decorated with frescoes in the 13th and 16th centuries.
