Église de la Jaillette - Louvaines

The 12th-century Romanesque church of La Jaillette is located in the heart of Anjou Bleu, in the small village of Louvaines. It is decorated with 16th-century murals.

The church of the Jaillette priory was founded in the 12th century and then rebuilt in the 16th century.
Its architecture combines a Romanesque nave and a Plantagenet Gothic choir. The building is partly covered with 16th-century murals and features polychrome keystones dating from the 13th century.
