SITE DES FORGES DE LA HUNAUDIÈRE

Located in historic Brittany, in the Châteaubriant region, in the commune of Sion les Mines, the Forges de la Hunaudière site is a major metallurgical centre in the area.

Today, the site is a popular tourist destination. There is a footpath around the pond where you can discover the flora and fauna, and a number of footpaths pass through the site.

L'Atelier Délices" is a restaurant, crêperie and tearoom where you can sample the region's traditional crêpes and galettes, and have lunch by the pond, giving many people the chance to spend a convivial moment on the site.

So don't hesitate to make the most of your visit and spend a relaxing moment by the pond, and if it's a Wednesday, you can take advantage of the "Art of Foundry" activities offered by the associations.
