Moulin de la Petite Bavouze

The Petite Bavouze mill is located in Ménil in the Mayenne department.

The Petite Bavouze mill bears witness to the milling industry that developed on the Mayenne in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior of the building is being restored with the support of the Fondation du Patrimoine.

Operated by the Maurice family until 1999 and having escaped dismantling, its machinery has been adapted while preserving the original mechanism. Selected by the Bern mission in 2019, the Petite Bavouze mill is currently undergoing restoration work, supported by the Fondation du Patrimoine, popular sponsorship, the Département and the Région.
