Le Moulin de la Garenne
Last windmill of Ancenis country, still active and dating from the 17th century.
Dating from the 17th century, the mill operated until 1965. Bought by the local council and restored to its original condition, it is the last remaining working mill in the Ancenis region. A slide show retraces its history.The mill is open every first Sunday of the month from November to June. July/August: every Sunday from 2pm to 5pm
NOTE: exceptionally closed on Sundays 6 July, 17 August, 7 September and 5 October 2025.
Visits to the mill must be booked by telephone.
Tours depart every 30 minutes, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
