Lavoir du Gué La Hart
A witness to the past
The ford la Hart washhouse in Changé was built in 1871 to reinforce the village washhouse. It is fed by the Buzardière stream and is located on the outskirts of the town, on the route des Charmes, towards Champagné / les Commerreries, on the départementale 248.The association "les amis du lavoir", which looks after the washhouse, aims to help preserve the local heritage of this washhouse, a witness to the past. It is working on rebuilding the roof to restore it to its former glory.
