CIRCUIT SIGOURNAIS HISTORIQUE

The 'Sigournais historique' trail takes you on a tour of this charming village's ancient and more recent past.

Along this route, you can discover : The church and its painted wooden altarpiece (this building is not always open), The fountain and its washhouse supplying the private gardens. The old shops and houses. The feudal castle (open in July and August).
This 1km circuit continues through the villages of Chassais and Le Requerre.
The walk starts at Place Robert de Lespinay, where the last public weighbridge in the canton still stands.
You can extend your walk with the vineyard huts trail (6 km), which takes in the wine-growing past of Sigournais.
