Plan d'eau de Teillé

The Teillé lake is a place for walking, fishing, relaxation and physical activity. This area offers all the facilities (picnic area, footpath, children's play area, etc.) you need for a pleasant family day out in a green and friendly setting.

Situated near the village of Teillé, the local lake is a peaceful place where you can take a break from everyday life. All year round, come and enjoy the fresh air, have fun or take part in a sporting activity in a peaceful, leafy setting. The 1.5km footpath around the lake features a fitness trail, children's play areas and picnic tables. In case of bad weather, a covered area is available at the end of the lake.

To make a day out with friends or family even more enjoyable, follow the "Randonneau des Pierres Levées" hiking trail that crosses the lake. This beautiful 8.5km loop starts at l'Ecluse, follows the river Donneau, passes through the Monumental Park along the line of megaliths and returns along the greenway. A change of scenery guaranteed!

An area for motorhomes has been set up so that visiting tourists can discover and enjoy this peaceful spot. The site is set in a quiet wooded area along the River Donneau, between the La Chesnaie housing estate and the lake.

The lake is also very popular with fishing enthusiasts. The pond, stocked by the Amicale des pêcheurs à la ligne de Riaillé, attracts anglers all year round, and the installation of a pontoon for people with reduced mobility means that this exceptional fishing spot is accessible to all. Fishing is accessible on condition that you have a fishing licence, available from the Bar-Restaurant au 4 Saison (12 place de l'Eglise) in Teillé.
