Plan d'eau de la Gravelle

Enjoy a spot of fishing at the Gravelle lake. You can extend your day with a picnic by the water.

Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the peace and quiet of the La Gravelle lake as they enjoy their favourite activity: fishing. Picnic tables are available on site to help you spend a convivial moment. For the little ones, there's the Parc de la Mabiterie nearby, a pleasant place to picnic and play with the whole family. The park is also the starting point for the Loireauxence Orienteering Trail!

To make a day out with friends or family even more enjoyable, the Etang de la Gravelle is the starting point for two walks: the "La Grande Prée" trail (11km) and the "La Madeleine" trail (9.1km). Two beautiful loops that guarantee a complete change of scenery!

Finally, the pond is a favourite spot for anglers. There is a good population of pike, pike-perch, perch, carp, rotengles, etc. Disabled access and parking are available for anglers with reduced mobility, giving them easy access to the pontoon specially designed for them. Fishing cards can be obtained from the La Perche varadaise association at the Cave St Vincent (191 rue du Maréchal Foch) or at the Viveco grocery shop (34 place Jean d'Arc).
