Balade "Sentier de la Garenne"

Overlooking the Loire with a 360° north-south view, the Parc de la Garenne offers an exceptional panorama for landscape enthusiasts.

The Garenne footpath has just been upgraded with a 1.2 km pedestrian loop. An orientation table can be found at the summit, more than 40 metres above the sea.

Each year, from 1 March to 30 June, for temporary conservation reasons linked to the site's biodiversity, the discovery trail is partially closed off from the quarry, which is specially secured by a protective fence at the top. However, the site is still accessible, allowing visitors to reach the highest point and its panoramic views either from the northern entrance on the Cap Loire side or from the southern part of the site, on Rue du Pirouet.
