Presentation of various aspects of the forest - Reconstruction of a 19th-century interior - Old trades. Open 2023 from 9 July to 17 September, Wednesday to Sunday, 2.30pm to 6pm.
The "Musée Benoist -Maison de la Forêt" association works both for local cultural and tourist development and to educate schools and the general public about the forest environment...In a playful, interactive and sensory space (terminals, sound space, picture walls, educational tree, games, etc.), you can discover different approaches to the Forest of Le Gâvre, its history and the life of the Gâvrais. A reconstructed interior showcases various collections from the last century.
The association that runs the museum also organises regular outings ("Forest, source and resource", "Mushrooms", "Deer bellow", etc.), conferences and themed exhibitions.
