Eglise Notre Dame

On 29 June 1931, on land donated by the Darlu family, the foundation stone of the church was laid by Monseigneur Le Fer de La Motte, Bishop of Nantes, in the presence of Monsieur De Lapeyrouse, General Councillor and Mayor of La Baule, Monsieur Bougouin, the building's architect, numerous members of the clergy and a large crowd of faithful. Inaugurated in 1935, it replaced the chapel of Sainte-Anne (Place Leclerc). Neo-Romanesque in style, its lines are sober and elegant: 52m long, 21m wide, 16.50m high under the vault. It houses the Chapelle Saint-Jean.
Mass times: Saturdays at 7pm in season. Sundays at 10.30am out of season (Nursery for children).
