Église Notre-Dame - Challain-la-Potherie
Notre-Dame church is built on the site of an 11th-century building. It is located in Challain-la-Potherie, in the heart of Anjou Bleu.
The church of Notre-Dame, partly rebuilt in the second half of the 18th century, was no longer sufficient to accommodate the village's growing population, so in 1821 the commune asked for an extension. Reconstruction began in 1862 with the nave and bell tower, and was completed in 1879 with the choir.Contact
