CHÂTEAU DE LA TUFFIERE
Château de la Tuffière is one of the many late 19th-century châteaux in the region, with a number of original features.
Château de la Tuffière is made of Tuffeau stone and brick and was designed by Richard Delalande in 1860.It is richly decorated on the outside, with its play on materials and colours (unbleached tufa stone, orange brick, blue slate), the variety and quantity of its sculpted decorations, and the originality of its curious "tabernacle" dormer windows.
Every Thursday at 2.30pm, the owner will give you a tour of the ground floor and exterior of the château.
Booking is essential, preferably online at: www.tourisme-anjouloiretsarthe.fr
