Presentation of: ROUTES DES VINS CHATEAU DE BRISSAC ET VIGNOBLES DE L'AUBANCE

From Angers, the starting and finishing point of this loop, head for Brissac. But first, don't miss a visit to the Château d'Angers. Take advantage of the mild climate in Angers to stop off at a restaurant or wine bar and sample the local specialities. Here, conviviality is the key word!
Once you've set off in the direction of the Aubance vineyards, you can discover the wines on footpaths through the vines. On the Routes des Vins, stop off at the wine estates, where the winemakers will give you a warm welcome!
On your way again, the highest château in France awaits you at Brissac-Quincé, with its 7 storeys and 204 rooms... That's something! You can also visit its sublime landscaped grounds on one of the 5 themed walks on offer. At the end of the tour, you can enjoy a wine tasting session. Châteaux, park, wine tasting: the good life!
In Saint-Mathurin, stop off at Loire Odyssée. A fun tour for all the family to learn all about the Loire. If you'd rather discover it on the water, the riverboats offer aperitif cruises, where you can enjoy tapas with a glass in your hand and a view of Europe's last wild river!
On the way back, follow the route de la grande levée along the banks of the Loire and take a break on a bench on the banks of the Loire to enjoy the moment. Keep your eyes peeled, as many herons have taken up residence here!
