Domaine de Bablut
Winegrowers and millers in Brissac since 1546
Winemakers and former millers, the DAVIAU family runs the Domaine de Bablut vineyard on the hillsides around Brissac. Christophe Daviau, oenologist, cultivates the vines with respect for nature, allowing his hillsides to offer the best of the terroir. The estate's vines have been grown organically since 1996.Domaine de Bablut produces AOC wines: Anjou Villages Brissac, Coteaux de l'Aubance, Crémant de Loire, Anjou blanc, Rosé de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou.
Domaine de Bablut has been awarded the Caves Touristiques d'Excellence diploma by the Val de Loire Wine Trade Association. The Domaine de Bablut has also been awarded the Vignobles & Découvertes label, which promotes the various activities available to discover the vineyards and the region's rich heritage. The estate welcomes groups and individuals, by prior arrangement, for a guided tour of the vineyards followed by a tasting session in the cellar, housed in an old mill.
