Domaine Escogriffe
Domaine Escogriffe, created by the LEGAGNEUX family, has been based in Coutures in Anjou since summer 2017.
Our passion for the world of wine and our desire for new adventures crossed paths with a rare opportunity, which has led us to announce the creation of our own wine estate: DOMAINE ESCOGRIFFE.Why "Escogriffe"? It's the name given to tall, thin, generally ill-built people... Which is what we are! Our family association brings together Dominique and Patrick, farmers and winegrowers for 25 years in Anjou, and Diane, a young winegrower and oenologist, and has enabled us to come up with this wonderful project. Since the 2018 harvest, a 4th escogriffe has joined us in the team, Romain, closely followed by Clara!
The 2017 vintage marked our first year of production and will enable us to offer you a range of Anjou wines from early 2018.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our troglodyte cellars in Coutures to taste our wines.
