Circuit pédestre Les Levées
ATTENTION WORKS! From 6 October to 21 November 2025, repair work will be carried out on the Levée de Bois Dieu between Maillé and Maillezais. The footpath will be closed to pedestrians and cyclists except at weekends. Please follow the instructions on site.
This tour, starting from the Place de l'Eglise in Maillezais, will take you through the two main parts of the Marais Poitevin: the wet marsh and the dry marsh. You'll discover the Aqueduct of Maillé and pass in front of the majestic Abbey of Saint Pierre de Maillezais.Starting point: Place de l'église in Maillezais (car park and WC)
