GR®36
One of the longest long-distance footpaths in France, it runs from Calvados through Anjou for around 110km. Starting at Broc (Noyant-Villages), the route takes you through the department's forests and typical Baugeois built heritage, with occasional hints of Sarthe influences, and across the Loire to Saumur, a must-see town of white tufa stone and eternal architectural treasures. In the southern part, you'll discover a more open landscape, with canals, plains and farmland.
