SENTIER LA TRICHERIE - LES BOIS VERTS - MESNARD LA BAROTIÈRE

The 17km route (signposted no. 2) starts at La Tricherie. The La Tricherie leisure centre offers an ideal break for walkers, with supervised swimming in summer, water sports activities, a shaded picnic area, children's games and a sports trail for the more energetic. The walk around the lake is both soothing and green, and offers an opportunity to observe a wide variety of wildlife.
Continuing along the path, you pass through the Bois Verts, where the cool undergrowth contrasts with the open meadows. It's a peaceful spot, perfect for getting back in touch with nature. The return journey to the village is a gentle one, offering lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Here you will be greeted by the 11th-century church of St Christophe, whose murals are a veritable treasure trove of medieval art.
