Once you've passed the centre of Pont-Château and its magnificent Place de la Mairie, the atmosphere becomes wilder again, right on the water, where you can watch wading birds in flight.
You'll return via the Pontchâtelaine countryside, which will remind us that Pont-Château is a land of cycling.
