Circuit d'un étang à l'autre

A walk to discover the ponds of Teillé and Pannecé.

You can start from the Teillé motorhome park or the Pannecé lake.

The Etang de Teillé has been awarded the "Parcours Pêche Famille" (Family Fishing Trail) label. It is located on the course of the River Donneau and is a popular spot for a family day out, with play areas, a fitness trail, a picnic area, a caravan park and a dance hall during the summer season.

The circuit passes as close as possible to the Donneau on the former winding and bucolic route of the Départementale 9, with an obligatory passage alongside the current road.

The Etang de la Gravelle in Pannecé is appreciated for its rural character and its trees. It is made up of two separate bodies of water, crossed by the small Troches road that leads to the village of La Joussière. Away from road traffic, it offers a peaceful setting for contemplation and family outings, with picnic tables and play areas, as well as sporting activities such as jogging, fitness trails and fishing (map).

The route follows the Voie Verte, a 36km hiking trail from Carquefou to Saint-Mars-la-Jaille. The Voie Verte is an old railway line built in 1884 to carry Braud agricultural machinery built in Saint-Mars-la-Jaille and exported around the world via the Voie Verte.

It is possible to join two other circuits:
- Sentier du Donneau, an 11.5km loop that starts at the Etang de Pannecé, follows the Donneau, passes near the Moulin de la Garenne and returns via the Voie Verte.
- Randonneau des Pierres Levées, an 8.5km loop that starts at the Etang de Teillé, follows the Donneau, passes by the Parc des Sculptures and returns via the Voie Verte.
