The Puys loop takes you on a tour of the hills and puys that make up the Vendée landscape around Pouzauges. From the top of its bell tower, more than 290 m high, Saint-Michel du Mont-Mercure keeps watch. Further down, imposing châteaux, venerable churches, ramparts and alleyways reveal secrets from the most terrible times of the Middle Ages.
