La P'tite maison de "Jo" - Gîte by the night.

Just 30 minutes from Angers, Chalonnes-sur-Loire immediately charms with its Loire-style atmosphere and lively town centre. Bordered by the royal river, the town invites you to take a stroll on the Ile de Chalonnes, the largest river island in Europe.

La P'tite Maison de Jo, just 3 minutes from the town centre, welcomes you for a stay between vineyards and the Loire, between châteaux and history.

The gîte is entirely on one level. You enter into the fully-equipped kitchen with a dining area (combined microwave oven, fridge, induction hob and 6 place dishwasher). There are 2 bedrooms, each with a 160x200cm bed, a shower room with walk-in shower, vanity unit and toilet, desk, television and storage space. The largest bedroom (32m²) also has a lounge with a BZ and armchairs and lovely views over the countryside.

Outside, there is a small terrace with garden furniture, electric grill and chiliennes. Private area of around 150m². The owners also provide access to the henhouse and pond for curious little adventurers.

Gîte with the 'Accueil vélo' label: Cyclists are welcome to use the bicycle shelter, repair equipment and breakfasts available by prior arrangement. The Loire à Vélo cycle route is 3km away.

The picturesque villages of Savennières and Béhuard are just 20 minutes away. For heritage lovers: Château de Serrant (15 mins), Château de Brissac (35 mins), as well as the charming town of Saumur (1 hour) and its famous troglodyte cellars. And for nature lovers, there's a wide choice of walks, cycle rides and boat trips along the Loire, as well as walks through the vineyards.
Don't miss Terra Botanica in Angers (30 mins) and the Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark (50 mins).
