WAKE PARADISE, the Sarthe's first waterski lift base!
A water-ski cableway is located on a lake to the north of Spay, 10 minutes from Le Mans town centre.A water-ski cableway is a 600m-long closed-circuit cable traction system on which 8 water-skiers can ride at the same time, at an average speed of 30km/h.
The water ski cableway is accessible to everyone, beginners or experienced skiers, sports enthusiasts or not, and provides incomparable sliding sensations: several styles:
- Kneeboarding, similar to sledging, is ideal for a first experience,
- water-skiing, which is very similar to downhill skiing, is perfect for getting to grips with the sport quickly and enjoying the thrill of standing up on a single or twin-ski,
- wakeboarding, the ultimate sport, is similar to snowboarding or its cousin, kite surfing, and for the more experienced, allows you to do some amazing tricks.
