An introduction to the aquatic environment and fishing, alone or with the family
The Maison Pêche Nature is run by the Maine-et-Loire Federation for Fishing and the Protection of the Aquatic Environment. On the edge of the Brissac forest, in the heart of the ponds, this interpretation centre, built in 1993, presents the aquatic fauna of the rivers of Anjou with a series of aquariums featuring the main species of freshwater fish.Activities to help visitors discover the aquatic environment and introductory fishing techniques are scheduled for the general public, children and adults alike, during the school holidays.
Recognised by the French government, the Maison Pêche Nature is open all year round to groups by prior arrangement (schools, leisure centres, youth centres).
