BASE DE LOISIRS SAINT-VIAUD

Supervised swimming place in high season and fishing area.

A natural area accessible all year round, the 4-hectare Lac de Saint-Viaud offers a lake for anglers and a leisure centre with picnic area, communal barbecue, water sports activities, children's play area, tennis courts, boules pitch and swimming area in summer.

The site also offers free Wifi access (Wifi4EU) and charging points with USB ports for your mobile phones.

Swimming area:
Located on the leisure centre's lake, it is open 6 days a week in summer and is supervised (bathing is forbidden in the absence of a lifeguard). It is free and open to all.
There are facilities for people with reduced mobility, including WCs, a walkway to the swimming area and an amphibious wheelchair.
Area: 700 m² marked out to a maximum depth of 1m80, including a marked-out area for toddlers with a maximum depth of 70 cm.
Swimming is supervised every day except Monday from 1.30pm to 6.30pm (from 28/06 to 31/08).

Swimming is not permitted outside these times.

Fishing:
Part of the lake is dedicated to fishing, offering a good population of carnivorous fish. Fishing permits on sale at the bar/tabac in Saint-Viaud.

Walking:
The landscaped site offers a walk around the lake with a fitness trail, an educational trail on trees presenting plant species and a historical exhibition.
Walking tour of the lake accessible to all (including PRMs): 1.5 km.

Skatepark:
Located right next door, it has a surface area of 450m2 and brings together both a plaza area equipped with rails, ledges, low to high, and a lively area with various hips and corners.
