ORATOIRE SAINT-CENERE

This oratory was built on the very spot where the hermit Saint Cénéré caused a spring to gush forth in the 7th century.

The Saint-Cénéré oratory is a very old monument, built on the very spot where the hermit of the same name, Saint Cénéré, who came from Italy, lived in the 7th century and where he made a spring flow. It has been a popular place of pilgrimage ever since.
